Early hours search
The volunteer RNLI crew from Aberystwyth were launched into darkness to search for a missing person in the early hours of Tuesday 3 May.
The RNLI lifeboat Spirit of Friendship assisted the police searching for a missing person in the Constitution hill area on Tuesday (3 May) at 02.32pm.
The lifeboat crew were soon on scene at the search area around Constitution Hill, where they joined the local volunteer Coastguard and Police.
The casualty was quickly located by the police on the cliffs. The lifeboat then stayed in the area until the casualty had been safely walked off the cliffs by the police.
The crew returned to the station at 3.10am Tuesday morning (3 May), where the boat was cleaned and rehoused before the crews went back to their beds, before work the next day.
