Launched to rescue a person on the end of the harbour’s wooden jetty in a storm
Aberystwyth Lifeboat was launched to rescue a person on the end of the harbour’s wooden jetty, who was in danger of being washed off by violent and strong waves.
The person was rescued by a crewmember climbing a ladder up to the jetty, securing a lifejacket around the person and assisting them into the lifeboat.
All were returned safe and well.
