Night time search with Newquay (with video)

The lifeboat was tasked to search with Newquay ALB for a missing person.

 

Due to the state of the tide the lifeboat was required to do a beach launch in the middle of the night to go and search for missing person South of Aberystwyth.  Once the boat had been launched it carried out a shorline search from Llanrhsytud to Aberarth whilst the All Weather Lifeboat from Newquay headed north towards them. After 2 hours the casualty was located safely by the police and the crews were stood down.
